They feel they can have certain standards but are not as willing to allow others to have standards that they respect.

My son and I have different views on some issues. We have learned to actively listen to each other.

We take turns speaking....We remain quiet while one is talking. It really helps keep the conversation from getting escalated. It's a respect thing.

What about setting limits?

what about kids who play games all night and they don't get enough sleep and want to sleep in school?What should we do then?
